I had this class online and i am a good student with a high GPA. This teacher is an ASS. thats all there is to it. He gets attitude when sending assignments back. He is a jerk. He doesnt have time for his students and his tests are about 25 questions but it takes hours to do. However, the online class is very organized. I did the work right, but.. he is too damn worried about grammar and if you addressed the paper in the correct format. Ex: you have to put your name a certain way, the class name a certain way.. page margins a certain way. AVOID HIM! hes absolutely terrrible and should quit his job before he gets gets complaints and is forced to resign

Mr. Mayton is the WORST teacher I have had a Western so far! I don't know why he even became a teacher if he obviously hates his students so much. He is the most unhelpful and RUDE teacher! DO NOT take his class!

Mr. Mayton is the worst teacher ever. Instead of being helpful whenever you ask him a question he acts like you are the biggest idiot. He is definitely not a teacher who is willing to help with questions in the class. Do NOT take his class!

He is the biggest jerk in the whole world. I think he was made fun of in school and now he is just trying to make everyone's lives misreable. He is very unfair when it comes to assignments and he is not willing to help you. If you do ask a question, he makes you feel like the biggest idiot in the world. I would not recommend him and his class to ANYONE!

Mayton is friendly, but he won't budge a bit on his syllabus policies. He has really redone the course also. Now, tests are online and are randomly generated from a bank of over 100 questions. You get to use your book, but if you don't read the material, there is no way you can look up the answers during the exams. The questions don't ask for facts. They make you evaluate situations and stuff like that. Not easy. Also, he has added "in-class assignments" which you can't make up if you miss. So now, if you miss class you lose attendance points AND in-class assignment points. I also heard that he failed a student last semester due to plagiarism. Stay away!

This class is easy, but you have to go. If you miss more than 2 classes he takes of half a letter grade and attendance counts as much as exams do. The exams are on the textbook website that he tells you to use when studying! If you memorize the answers you make a 100!!! Don't buy the book and don't take notes in class, it's really not nescesary.
