Additional Comments |
You don't have to take many notes in this class because Byrd gives you lots of handouts. If you don't get Chemistry, you'll probably hate this class. I went into this class having had no Chemistry in high school, and he explained things well enough that I had no problem following. He's very helpful if you need additional instruction. He wants the class to succeed and makes extra credit available if there is a need for it. His exams are very detail-oriented and he likes long, specific definitions and lots of examples. You must make sure you get all of it because if you're missing something he particularly wanted to see, he'll take off 1/4 to 1/2 a point even though you have the essential definition.
