Ra, as he likes to call himself (after the sun god) is a pretty good guy all around. His class requires a lot of reading, but isn't that hard. He is pretty full of himself, but one has to take into consideration that he is the same age as his students. He spends a lot of time flirting when he should be teaching, but I would take him again if I had the chance.

Mr. Wilson is an unorthodox teacher in that he rarely lectures or gives notes. Mostly he tries to inspire class conversation. The reading load was fairly heavy, but it is an english class so don't expect otherwise. At least the material he choses is interesting! Papers are frequent, but fairly lax in grading criteria. Extra credit is available, and if you really get a grade you don't like on an essay you can rewrite it.

Mr. Wilson is a really nice guy. However, he is really stuck on himself and lets his arrogance get in the way of teaching the class. Most of the assignments and readings you have are his way or no way. He assigns a lot of reading outside of class and you have quizes on the reading assignments the next class period. He gives three exams mostly essay form over the reading material. If you don't like reading this is not the teacher for you. He does give you a chance of extra credit. These extra credit assignments are not that easy! The extra credit consists of reading other books and then evaluating them, but you have to write the papers in a way to interest him or you will not get credit.

Mr. Wilson is a very unorthodox teacher, sometimes unpredictable. He's pretty easy though, and i would recommend this class to people who have to take ENG 300 for gen ed. you have to write 5-6 essays and one big research paper, and there are a couple of quizzes.
