Wow. If you get behind by as little as 2 days, you'll never recover in this class. I left on a university trip and missed 2 sessions. I never recovered. Dr. Atici does not communicate ideas well, and his accent is difficult to understand. I'm avoiding this guy in the future, and I would recommend the same to you.

mr. atici seems to be a nice guy but he needs to learn better ENGLISH and try his experiments himself before he embarasses himself during a lecture when they don't work. He is very hard to understand.

This class was challenging and I learned a great deal. Dr. Atici is hard to understand at times, but he has shown patience in the classes I have taken with him. He is present during all office hours, and you can make an appointment should you have a scheduling conflict. I meet with him almost every week with a new problem or question and he is always patient and helpful. His study guides contained almost the exact information that was on the test, to the point that it is almost too easy, and you can always just ask him what to study for the test and he will give you a straight answer.

There is a huge communication barrier between what you ask and the information he gives you. He is somewhat knowledgeable about C, but he constantly screws up the program and cannot fix it; yet he expects you to correct it yourself. He is usually available in his office but is reluctant to give you help.

There was a definite communications problem between him and the rest of the world. The only way a person can receive a high grade (A or B) in this class is by having a CS class before this one, or studying their ass off. This class is a BI-term class for engineering majors, so that the EE-285 computer programs will be easier to understand. We went into so much detail that will never be used, or retained in the class. Mustafa is a terrible teacher, and an even worst person. He doesn't know much about C++, which is the programming language he was supposed to be teaching. All of my friends, who have had this class, had it with a different person, who made the class fun and easy. Avoid taking this SON OF A B*TCH at all cost.

This professor absolutely made no sense at all. This has to be the worst professor that I have ever had. He does not care if the student learns anything or not. He never has time to help you after class or during his office hours. If you have any choice do not take this professor. You will regret it.

Nothing he said made sense. His examples usually didn't work. He doesn't know much about C++, which is the programming language he was supposed to be teaching. He gave study guides, but the tests were nothing like them. When you ask questions, he never answers what you ask and gets frustrated if you point that out. Sometimes he gets frustrated after the initial question. His test questions were usually not asking what he wanted.
