Reed is a great teacher who loves to have fun with his class. I would def. tell yall to take this guy for theatre appreciation. The final consists of you simply entertaining the class for 2-3 minutes, that's all. You have 3 tests, 2 of which were take home tests for my class. They are really easy. You are required to go to 2 plays that Western puts on and write 2 page critiques on each, which is also easy. Any other plays you go to are extra credit. You have to do a "murder" scene in which you can only say 2 random phrases, or nothing at all. You tell anyone in your class what to do and he grades their performance on your production. It's funny. Half the time we didn't really do anything. We watched a few movies over plays we had to read....The textbook is not required at all, but a couple of the little books you have to get that are plays you should read. I didn't read a couple and I still did fine, but a couple are on the tests. This class is a lot of fun and you are gauranteed to laugh your ass off quite frequently. Have fun.
