Always seems preoccupied/annoyed when is called upon for help. I would have enjoyed this course if I hadn't taken him. The final project is stupid and ridiculous, he taught us things in avid that I know I will not ever use. Don't take him if there is someone else teaching this class. Also, he takes attendance every day, so make sure you go. You can get by without buying the book but he takes some questions from it every now and then on the tests. Tests are somewhat easy - usually fill in the blank.

When i first got into his class, i thought that this guy would be a good teacher as well as a good person. Well i figured out that he was a bad teacher after his impossible tests. He makes jokes that are kinda funny and gets everyone on his side, then he screws you over cause your a guy. If you're a girl, then you've got it made. He's an old pervert that makes his tests the hardest he can then screws you out of your grade. dont take this guy. The class avg for tests were 71%, 63%, 69%. This guy really sucks and i have a 3.0 GPA. i mean i had a 3.0

Dr. White is a very good professor. He explains everything well and goes over it until everyone understands. He will gladly help you if you need it. He also tries to bring humor to the classroom instead of just lecturing. However, his exams are difficult so you have to study hard. His quizzes are fairly easy if you know the material, but they are only worth 10 points each. He gives you 5 points though even if you miss everything on the quiz ... it's your reward for showing up to take it, I guess. I would definitely recommend him. GOOD LUCK!

Dr. White is an excellent teacher. He makes accounting fun. He's an awesome person, and he'll do anything to help you. His test are hard, but aren't all accounting tests? By the end of the semester he knew every person by name. He's so cool. I'd take Dr. White if I had to take accounting.

I found Dr. White to be an extremely difficult teacher. By looking at previous evaluations from other years, I don't believe that he has always been this bad. However, when I got done taking a test in his class I felt like I had been put through the ringer and back. He covered the material very well in class, and told us what to study for the exam, but on the actual exam he would change things drastically on problems to through you off. Or, he would put things in a format that he'd never done in class before, so it would really through me off. Dr. White seemed like a nice guy, but as a teacher, he needs to understand that we're NOT all Accountants, nor do we want to be. We don't know everything about it, and even those of us who never missed a day studying accounting couldn't pull B's on his tests. When out of over 50 students, your class test average on an exam is a 62, something is wrong. That should tell a teacher something about their teaching style.

Dr. White comes off as a nice guy but really is a bastard. His exams are off the wall hard and the class average on Exam 2 was a freakin 62. I just got on blackboard to see what i got on Exam 3 and I'll just say that I felt confident after 4 nights of studying that I pulled a B off...nope I got a 69. Oh well I'll just feel good knowing that this piece of shit will soon be dead with his body rotting away in the ground somewhere. I hate this man and hate this class. Take anyone else. The format of his exams are 33.3% problem solving and 66.6% multiple choice. The MC questions are just ridiculously hard as are his problems that takes 65 minutes to work 3 of them out. If enough people complain to WKU he will be fired. Numbers will get this shithole fired people!!!

I did find that taking this course was much more difficult than previously thought, though i did not expect race and sex to come into play. I found later that he bumped friends up when they were female and a minority, but for the guys, NO LUCK!!! I did get a borderline grade and he would not bump me the point, but he did so for a friend who was mentioned earlier. If another prof. is available, i would recommend them over him, but if youre a female or minority, you got the chips on your side and play it for its worth.

Dr. White is actually probably the nicest teacher I've ever had, but also the hardest. He told us on the first day that his exams are very difficult and that was a HUGE understatement. We just got our 2nd exam back today and the class average on it was a 62%, but it was our faults for not devoting more time to accounting. I'm sorry that I'm in 4 other classes and I spent from 10pm until 3:30am studing for this bullshit exam and still ended up with a 60%, but he just doesn't give fair exams. He will review over what you need to know for the exam, however, once the actual exam is given he gives you the most difficult questions from the topics that he tells you to study. The class average in Exam one was a 71 by the way and after the 2nd exam average of 62 he looked at us like he wanted to kill us like it's our fault. Don't take this man unless you are looking for a very efficient way to lower your GPA and feel bad about yourself while at it.

For an accounting class, this class was the best. It is such a boring subject, but White is really funny in class and always has bad jokes to throw in. He makes it actually fairly entertaining. His tests are very tough, so be sure to study and go to class, because he also gives quizzes, some of which are simple and will get full credit if you show up. Sort of a tough class, but probably the best teacher for accounting.

He's a good teacher in that he has good stories and relates the material well, but the exams are ridiculous. You prepare for an exam and find similar but different material, not to mention multiple choice questions that are stupid hard. Stay away from his class.

He does an excellent job of explaining Accounting and wants his students to get a good grade. First few quizzes are very difficult..but stick in there!! Hes just trying to scare you into studying more. Highly reccommend him.

If you have to take this class take Dr. White. He has a way of making Accounting fun.

Mr.White is a wonderful professor who truly cares about his students. I strongly recommend his class.

Since I am not very good at accounting I like to have a little extra help. Well Dr. White does not provide the answers to the review problems nor is the book offer straight answers. I studied extensively for the first test and still failed it. My goal was to get a good grade not to just get by. Although he is nice man, I fell it is his time to retire. I am sure he knows a lot about accounting but I fell his teaching sucks.

Dr. white is one of the best teachers i've ever had, he adds a little humor and fun to a somewhat difficult course. he also goes slower than the other accounting teachers to allow students more time to pick up on the materital. overall a great teacher.

Dr. White is an extremely good professor. While he teaches a very difficult subject, he makes the class enjoyable... I wouldn't recommend any other professor for this class.

Dr. White is a good teacher that makes a difficult class fun to take. It is still and accounting class though, so expect it to be difficult. He grades fairly and often will curve when everyone seems to have a hard time with a concept.
