Additional Comments
Overall, Reed is very knowledgeable and prepared for class. You will learn from his notes, although he tended to be very Eurocentric in this class and especially focused on France. He grades tests (all essays) and papers very hard but not unfairly so. To make good grades on them you WILL need to read the texts and regurgitate absolutely every bit of knowledge you can remember. Personally he is very willing to help and has a sense of humor, but sometimes comes off as arrogant and/or patronizing. Good professor if you are willing to put in some work.
