LOOK i have a degree in computers and i have never failed a college class in 5 years. but because she is the worst teacher i have ever incountered that has changed. This woman should not be aloud any where near a college campus. All former students should come togather and complain to get her thrown out. This class should be fairly easy or at least as not as hard as she makes it. DO NOT under any circumstances take her.

she was not my original teacher, i had barnum but she came on for him later in the year. shes a very friendly person, but can be a bit overbearing about having your full attention. sometimes she doesnt realize that she gives as much work as she does, so a lot of times you have to rush on projects. all in all, shes a good teacher, but you should be prepared to deal with her ordering you to stop whatever youre doing to look at her while she is speaking.

This class is beneficial to a journalism major and required therefore I suggest that if you'd like to learn something to take a qualified teacher who will teach you something. I personally didn't find one here and that's why I wasn't motivated to excel in this class. Ruth is nice however doesn't know what she's doing.
