Professor Lani's class is hard, but good. I have learned more in his class than i did in any other class i have taken at college. His tests are extremely difficult, but he grades on a curve, so if it is difficult for everyone (and it will be) you will still do well. His lectures are relevant and as long as you attend class and ask questions, you should do ok.

His tests were so hard and he made it that way on purpose. The period after he grades the test he would go over it and laugh at our answers. He did not teach much material that was on the test and expects you to know each law in specific detail and regurgitate it on the test. EVERY QUESTION WAS A TRICK QUESTION! This was the hardest class I've had since I started in my 5 semesters of full time courses. (I'm an accounting major)

Lani always has to give a curve for every test. He doesn't teach, he talks in a very monotone voice and speaks mainly in law terms without explanation. I am an honor roll student and received a 26% on his first test AFTER the curve. Over half the class failed the first test after the curve. I studied extremely hard for the test. It was completely essay with a few fill in the blanks and a couple true/false. He always thinks his students are trying to not learn and just get a grade. He is rude and a terrible teacher.

All tests are of the essay type. He expects you to be a lawyer by the time you exit the class. Everything is way overboard.
