Additional Comments |
This is an intro course right? WRONG. If you don't have any previous knowledge of this subject then just forget it. The second day he had us picking out different sympohny instruments from a piece of music, counting rythm & meter, & describing harmony & tone color--without even explaining it! I think everyone in that class was an ex band member, so they already knew this stuff, but what about the rest of us? I hated it. I studied forever & made a 54 on the 1st test because I couldn't hear all of this stuff in the music that takes years to accustom yourself with. AAHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Needless to say, I do NOT recommend him.
