Additional Comments |
You need to really have a passion for movies to enjoy this class! Not just a casual movie goer, but hardcore! The only difficulty about this class are the exams and the movies you have to watch. The exams are right from the book, so as long as you read every word of every chapter, you'll be fine. Otherwise, you might have trouble. I had to draw from my own knowledge of cinema to pass most of the exams. His lectures don't really help that much; he pretty much goes by the book or has you do presentations for various chapters. The movies can be kind of boring at times, especially after having sat through about an hour and a half of lecture beforehand. But you do come out of the class with a greater appreciation and better knowledge of film.
