Additional Comments |
The class itself is extremely easy. You can usually get by without reading the assigned readings if you just show up for class to listen to Professor Taylor's lectures. She usually covers the important aspects of the reading. The only problem I had with this class is the research paper that is due at the end of the semester. If you fail the paper, you fail the class. The problem is Professor Taylor spends the whole semester making you read interesting, but wholly unimportant, essays and focuses on the research paper on the last few weeks of class. By that time, you'll be a nervous wreck trying to put together a decent research paper and presentation in the small space of time you have left. I highly suggest you get on it early. Thankfully, she is merciful when it comes time to grade the papers. Just as long as you can show that you know how to write a research paper, you'll pass. Otherwise, I really liked this class.
