Additional Comments |
The other evalution of this class is grossly inacurate and unfair. I also recieved a C in this class, but it wasn't for lack of effort on Dr. Lasley's part to help me succeed. I find that Dr. Lasley is very helpful and attempts in every way to deal with a subject matter that is well-known to be the least favorite of the majority of the government majors. Yes, the material is difficult. Welcome to upper level classes. But, Dr. Lasely works hard to present it in a way that is relatable to the students, and the tangent conversations that can take place in his classroom are his way, I believe, of allowing the students a break from time to time and to keep them interested. The paper does require effort, and he does not automatically give C's for simply turning it in. He is willing to work with students on the paper, and is perhaps to generous at times with that assistance. Overall, Dr. Lasely deals very well with a class that he knows has already been marked as a kill-joy.
