Additional Comments
I have mixed thoughts about professor Baker. On one hand, I thought the class was very interesting and I learned a lot but the amount of work required for this class alone was too much. We took pages of notes every day and had a quiz over a 20 page chapter in the book every other class. These quizzes were only five questions each but added up to be 20% of your final grade. I read each chapter and went over it a second time but still managed to do poorly on each quiz. At least, I think I did. Baker will not tell you what grade you receive on the quizzes and the questions are too in depth to answer even thought I read the chapters. He gives no clue as to what material will be on the quizzes and tests. I studied for the tests as well but one test didn't have anything from the notes I took and I received an F on it which ruined my grade. I made B's on all the other tests but my final grade was a C. I could go on forever about how much I hated this class but it was only because it was too much work for a class that should have been simple. If you want to learn a lot and kill yourself studying then I suggest you take this class but otherwise, avoid it.
