Jogging is a four day a week activity in which do little more than what the title implies. Ryan requires you to keep a log of your running and you must check out with him before you start running. He'll run the course as well to make sure no one is cheating. You will run two miles at the beginning and work your way up to three miles. The final is a timed two mile jog and the time requirements for grades are given to you on the first day of class. Ryan is a nice guy, he allowed me to move my final to a day later due to sickness. A fun PE class to take in the afternoons.

This class stinks! He will choose favorites in this class and will only help you if he likes you. Do not miss class because he will deduct 10 pts each time you miss. Save all of your handouts he gives you because you will need it on your midterm and final, he will not give you new handouts if you misplaced it because he thinks your are irresponible. He always looks like he is mad and its hard to approach him when you need help. Basically become his bestfriend to recieve a good grade.

You still have to study, and you have to understand what's going on. Tons of extra credit. Tons, but outside of class. Pretty good teacher, I think.

Arnold was in a cast at the time f my class so i understand he was not able to run with us. But me, along with several others in the class agreed that he totally picks favorites. Basically, if he likes you, you'll get an A in the class. If he doesn't, you'll probably do bad. He really doesn't know how to teach and the way he grades is just rediculous and makes no sense. Fun class because you get to run and do everything on your own, but if you could get another teacher, I would highly recommend that. The final is a timed 2 mile run.

This prof. was horrible. I think that he really got his rocks off failing people. On his first test there were over 20 F's and on the second test there were atleast 15 F's. (I am not exaggerating, these are the numbers he put on the board!) I am guessing that only a few people actually got A's in that class. Seriously it is PE 100 and the prof. running those courses try to welcome freshmen to college with this intimidating crap. I am a senior and have done my share of hard classes. This is a joke, this should be one of the easiest classes offered and they allow the prof.s to be complete pricks. Take bowling and a few other courses, getting all the hour requirements at once from this class is NOT WORTH IT! Especially from Arnold!

This class requires you to remember A LOT of information. He gives very detailed study guides for each test, which you should follow & memorize word-for-word. That wasn't hard at all- just extremely time consuming. Be warned: he picks favorites the 1st day. Sit at the front of the class & be athletic, and he'll actually talk to you and be friendly. Otherwise, people like me (unathletic & book smart), don't get the luxury of having a professor that acts pleasant towards them. Never got one smile- EVER. I found the class fairly easy, it just required a lot of work on my part, and don't be offended by his poor attitude- just brush it off.

Arnold is an awsome professor so long as you, show up pay attention, participate, and show an intrest in learning. He has you keep an exercise log, two exams, a mini teach, and create a program (as if a clinet asked you to make them a program based on their goal(s)). Can be diffiicult if you don't have the time to invest into meorizing alot of hand outs.

He is an O.K. Teacher. His tests are pretty hard. You have to remember everthing, he is boring for the most part. He goes off tangent in every lecture. Rambling On and On about dumbass common sense shit. But count the times he says "still again" and "things like that" and you will laugh your ass off! I got 15 times on each in ONE class meeting!! Post your high scores!!

If you're expecting this class to be an easy A because it's PE, you're wrong. You have to MEMORIZE a LOT of information for his tests and your answers must be worded exactly as they are in his notes. You'll basically stare off into space every day because there's no reason to pay attention because he gives you his notes and he's boring anyway. What sucks about that is that attendance is mandatory and you're counted off for every day you miss, so you actually have to go. The nice thing is that you only really have class two days a week, the other day you'll have to go to Preston and "work out" which really means just doing anything that doesn't involve sitting on your ass. If you get bored, just count how many times he says "and things like that" or "still again".

Arnold is a great teacher. Show up to class everyday, put forth some effort on your final program, and you'll do fine.

If you go to class and complete the one work-out assignment during the semester and do decent on the mid-term then you should get an A. I took the Women's class and it helped me to become more comfortable in the weightroom and with myself.

This class is hard, but Arnold is a very understanding teacher. He runs with you, so it's not like he's standing over everybody making them do things he can't. It's a bi-term class that starts off with 2 miles a day. After that, it goes up by 1/4 mile each week till you max out at 3 miles. The final is 2 miles, graded on how fast you get it done. The final times are reasonable if you have been getting in your distance the entire time. I loved it! BUT, don't miss too much! You'll never get to 2 miles if you don't work on it! :)

This is a fantastic class if you like to run or think you need to get in shape. He will make you start out jogging 2 miles a day for the first 3 weeks, then you add a quarter mile every week until the end of the bi-term. He is very understanding. As long as he can tell you're trying, you'll get a good grade

The only way to fail this course is to not come, or not do the assignments. Attendance is mandatory and you can only miss so many days. You will have to keep a workout journal where one day a week outside of class you exercise. At the end of the semester you will also have to create a workout program, which requires a little research from the handouts he gives you. There is also a final that covers material from the handouts Arnold gives you throughout the semester. He gives you a review sheet for this final so if you study you will not fail. Overall Arnold is very helpful as long as you show an interest and come to class.

Mr Arnold is a good teacher. He teaches you things that you need to know and that will help you with weight training. This class does require you to do some busy work such as make journal entries, design a workout program etc. Attendence is a must and is part of your grade. However, you can miss 3 classes and it not count against you. Overall, not a bad teacher.
