I did not like Adkins at all. He expects you to have the same views as he does. You have to remember every author and name of every story you read. For a general ed class find someone different. The only good thing about the class is you get all the extra credit you want. That is if you enjoy writting two page papers just to have them ripped apart and only get 7 points.

This was a really awesome class, despite the pop quizzes and tough midterm and final. You learn a lot about other woldviews while broadening your own; plus, you can do all the extra credit you want!
