Anne Goetting is the worst teacher I have ever had at WKU. She's one of the rudest people and is not very personable with her students. She's an intelligent woman, I think. But she, in no way, needs to be teaching. Her tests, when you look at them, they don't seem too incredibily difficult, but if you don't have her opinion worded exactly the right way then you are screwed. Seriously, on the first test, people made the grade of 10s and 16s. Most of those people dropped. The reading isn't too bad. The content, for the most part, is interesting. However, everytime I went to class, because she was teaching it, I wanted to gouge my eyes out. We had two extra credit opportunities, but I think those vary. You get to hear the problems and ailments that she is going through...you get to hear about how she is always at a disadvantage. She likes to repeat herself a lot, which makes class go by even slower. If you have to take her, try to get out. But if you can't, be a puppet and agree with everything she says. If you don't, you will fail. Also, this is not a class for the anti-feminist.
