Additional Comments |
When I read the ratings for Dr. Lemerise I felt confident that I was picking a good class. However, I feel they are highly misguided. First off, Dr. Lemerise DOES NOT LECTURE. She does do something that she might call lecturing, but it is only a way to reduce her prep work. What she does (at least in my honors class) is make students read a chapter everyday and then come to class with specific questions. Then, she answers those questions and you leave. In my opinion teaching myself this class would have been easier, since that was basically all I was doing. Also, her tests included no multiple choice, like others have said, rather they included 10 full length (1-2 pages) essays that you were to choice four from, all to be done in the span of 50 minutes. Keep in mind that she gives no review for these tests and the material covered on each is well over 200 pages. If you like flexability and teching yourself much of the material, take it. If you would rather have someone EDUCATE you, then I would reccomend passing on this one.
