Mr. Stalions gives random assignments but usually is very fair in grading. The class is easy going but not too interesting. I would reccoment this class if you aren't much into english, you basically write one paper every two weeks and take quizes over some reading assignments. It isn't too hard.

You have 6 in class essays and 4 out of class essays. They are not that hard, but he does not explain how to do them so you just have to guess. You have a lot of quizzes, some are hard and some are easy. The one good thing is there are no tests and no final. It is very boring but not awful.

Eric, above all, is the most pathetic instructor I have ever had. He is useless. He quizzes over readings but he stated that he would not quiz us over readings. He treats it more as a history class than an english class. Something is due every day of class. you have to read these ridiculously long boring essays, come up with some questions about them, take a quiz over the stupid reading, and then sit in a circle like you did in kindergarten and discuss what the hell you just read. There are not quizzes over grammar, there are critical essays due just about every week, and 2 major papers are due during the semester which account for the majority of your grade. So what's the point of attending everyday and all the readings? Do not take Eric Stalions for english 300.
