I took this class in three weeks--every night for 2 1/2 hours in September. It was a lot of fun because there were only 15 of us in there, so we really got to know each other. Her grading can be tough at times, but just make sure you use correct journalistic style and follow A.P. style rules. Tests aren't too horrible. We took a midterm and final. Midterm was cumulative of the first half of the class and the final was cumulative of it all. The actual "test" part of the final wasn't, but the other half of your final was using everything you learned in class to compose a story. Professor Quinn is another one who will go way out of her way to help you. She'll actually give you her home number and tell you to call her there (as long as it's not super early or late)
