Additional Comments
If you are taking scott lasley's govt 301 at WKU, you have come to the right place. Let me tell you first of all, you do not need to buy a book, unless you feel more comfortable doing so. You will need to make friends in the class for notes, and attendance is now manditory. You do not, however, need to pay attention to a single word he says unless it pertains to an assignment. He is way over everyone's heads, and seems to like to show it off. If you go to his office to talk with him, beware, he likes to analyze people and he will call you out if he thinks you are telling him a lie (excuses for missing class). He posts notes on http://atech.wku.edu:8080, which is a website you will need to frequent. He takes attendance very seriously, but does not outwardly show his enthusiasm, which adds to the frustration. By the way, don't worry about the paper for his class, it is BS and you will get a C if you turn something at all in. I know this is all a little confusing to you now, but read it, heed it, and after you are halfway through the course, come back right here and read it again and you will laugh because of how right I am! Good luck, and buy him a pack of sunflower seeds for a goodbye gift... he's getting fired soon!
