Dr. Sleugh is a wonderful teacher. He designs his own book, which has the majority of notes that you will need throughout the semester. He has reviews sessions before every test, and it is up to the individual if he/she wants to do well. He breaks down what he is teaching on a level that anyone can understand. If you are willing to do what is asked of you, then this class will be perfect for you.

Dr. Sleugh was a really good teacher. He requires that you have a scrapbook of articles from the news. You only have to have 1 article per week and it has to pertain to agriculture. Really easy grade. You also have to have a class presentation that you do with your assigned group. He will have other professors come in to grade you.

Although this course is taught by several different teachers, I found it to be super easy. At times it was confusing with the different teachers and boring because of repetitive information, I still found it interesting. The test were very easy and I would highly recommend this class for a science component.

The test cover crap that you dont go over in class. Also you are given a huge group grade by other members evaluating you. Even if everyone does all their work in the group each person can only assign so many points. Basically you have to screw a few people in your group and give the others good grades. This class is poorly taught and there are hardly any grades except the one group grade. Unless you want the hassle of a hard class when it should have been easy. Do NOT take this class. Oh yeah and also you have about 5 different teachers teaching the class and only one makes up the tests... Go Figure.

Dr. Sleugh is an excellent teacher. He understands that not everyone grew up living on a farm. Dr. Sleugh makes class fun, and he also offers extra credit as well. This is a great class to take if you need a science component. I would highly recommend taking this class.
