i took this class online and it was terrible. The class was more about the actual computer parts than using one. The tests are to be proctored at school. I had a tutor and that is the only reason i got a B. You use PHIT software to learn word, excel,and powerpoint. That was the easy part. He pulls questions from previous tests directly and puts on the midterm and final. He is very difficult to understand on blackboard and e-mail. I would keep away from this professor.

Take this class in the classroom; not on the internet. You understand things a lot better if taken in the classroom. It is a difficult class, but you have to put the effort to get a good grade. As long as you study and do the lessons for excel, word, and powerpoint, then I think you will make a good grade. Good Luck!

This professor is the worst I have ever encountered!! I tried very hard in the class, but he is very misleading. His announcements posted on blackboard are very confusing. Don't even think about emailing him to ask a question, he always answered with a two or three word response and was very rude. He does not offer extra credit. GOOD LUCK to anyone who takes this class. You will need it.

I took this course online and it was very difficult. He was hard to reach sometimes and was sometimes confusing on his blackboard announcements. He required book work and used PHIT for learning word, excel, and powerpoint. Do not take this course online unless you can get a tutor or have a computer background.

I took this course on the web. He tries to be helpful but the whole class seemed disorganized and confusing. You have tests and quizes over the book material and then you use PHIT software to learn and test over Word, Excel and Access. Several of the questions on the book material were often worded badly and misleading. You have to have the software tests, midterm and final proctored in a lab. I would definitely take this class on the web over in class if you have any technical background. You would be bored in class.

this was the worst class i have ever had. it is so difficult and he does not explain things well. my friend and i both tried our hardest to well in this class and we both made d's as our final grades. i highly recommend that you do not take him for this class. no matter how hard you try, you will not receive a good grade!

I hated the class. However that wasn't because of Quian. He was a wonderful teacher. It's just that Intro is so boring b/c it is quite repeatative.
