Dr. Haggbloom is a very difficult teacher. There are tons of quizzes so attendance is very important. The material is also very hard and requires reading every single night and studying every single night. He seemed more strict at the beginning of the semester and lightened up towards the end. I got an A because I spent a lot of time reading and going over the notes in class. It was a very hard class, but I did learn a lot and it was interesting.

Go to class. Or you will hate your life. And read the book. Dr. Haggbloom gives almost daily in-class quizzes and online quizzes on Blackboard. He lets you drop two of the in-class quizzes and three of your quizzes on Blackboard. Also, don't leave early, because sometimes he likes to mix things up and give a quiz at the end of class.

Haggbloom is the department head, which means he has little to no time to teach his classes. His lectures are almost at graduate levels & he very clearly loves research involving rats. He didn't give us enough opportunities to complete the writing assignment for the class. He told us we'd have at least 6 opportunities to turn in & get feed back on our rough drafts. He gave us 3. If you bitch enough, he'll drop the lowest of the three test grades. And if you're a talker then he'll love you. He hands out grades, so if you discuss during class & ask questions you'll probably get an A regardless of your actual scores.

Ok..Haggbloom is a good guy outside of the classroom...but as a professor, he's crap. Most everyone failed the first exam and complained about it and he decided to take measures to make the next one better, which was good, but his "reviews" are pointless. He takes questions from students but then fails to answer them. He overcomplicates everything in class and confuses students even more. There are three exams and several pop quizzes. The exams are multiple choice, short answer, and a longer essay. However, on the second exam, he knocked out the essay and gave a choice of short answer questions and extra credit multiple choice. His multiple choice is even worded confusing. Overall, I would not recommend this class unless you can't get enough of learning in rats.

He is the devil!!! He was so unfair. He picked his favorite student (which just happened to be a beautiful blonde girl), and he was so obvious about it. He clearly knows his stuff, however, he has zero personality. I had a REQUIRED meeting with him over a term paper topic, and he treated me like I was bothering him. I'm not saying that he is not extremely intelligent, but he is not a nice person.

I am posting this evaluation not because I particularly liked Dr. Haggbloom as a person, but because I think the other evaluations may scare potential students off. Dr. Haggbloom is a difficult professor and for the most part VERY boring. It's true that the material may be difficult, and the fact that it is very dry does not help. However, I recieved an A on all the test. You just have to know how to study and be willing to put the time and effort into studying. Serious students should do fine in the class.

I can not believe this man is the department head. He allows for no variation in the communication of the same ideas. To put it short you can get the answers to the exams correct, but if they are not communicated in the grammatical fashion that Haggbloom uses you get no credit, none. I am not a straight A student, but a lot of my friends i the class were. They recieved Ds and Fs. He also takes forever to grade the exams, but rips them out of your hands when the period is over.

Do not take this class. I had a 4.0 until I took this class. I had been on the President's list and I am a member of a national honors sorority. Not only is this class EXTREMELY difficult, it's also incredibly BORING!!! Dr. Haagbloom can not present the material, and he has his favorites. I am convinces he downgraded my test because he knows I do no like the material. Every other word out of his mout is the same thing. The entire class is about conditioning. There is no variety. Dr. Haagbloom, I hope you read this and get a clue
