Dr. Sikora is beyond awful at responding to emails. This course is basically Personal Finance, we use the actual book for personal finance. I bought the access code because that was what the bookstore said to buy DO NOT its so expensive and you do not use it. She is little to no help with assignments. Do not take her if you don't have to!

The course itself was interesting and usable everyday knowledge. Before I took the course, I knew from reading her evals, communication would be poor and it was. You had to request a password to take an exam and it would be days before I got the password. I would have already began the new section. It would usually take days to get any response and sometimes I emailed the same thing more than once. Course was interesting and fairly easy if you don't mind the frustration.

Ms. Sikora became the boss of the CFS department last year. She is too busy to teach any classes because she is so busy. There is never time for the students and she honestly has become "hooty snooty" because of her new job.

Dr. Sikora is a very nice person, however, she does not come through with promised help or feedback at times. You'll be told to turn in things early so you can get feedback, but feedback never comes and you just receive a final grade on an assignment much later with no explanation.

She has no test, but you have to do three class presentations and one in the public. This is a great class for FCS Ed people, my favorite so far. Dr. Sikora makes everything fun. Take it.

This class is wonderful and so is Dr. Sikora! It can seem overwhelming because of the extensive projects, but it is all worth it! I gained a lot of knowledge in the course and it was usually entertaining. Dr. Sikora gets a thumbs up....just be prepared for some thinking!

She is a wonderful teacher, she only gives useful information. Sometimes it can seem a bit overwhelming, but she spaces things out so you have time to finish everything...I recommend her! She's very down to earth and will help you with anything!! Way to go Dr. Sikora! One of my favorites ever! There isn't any assignments in the books, its just for extra help, so if you don't have the money, just borrow one!
