Well the course IS Freshman Seminar, so it was of course an easy A. However, I think the general opinion of the UC101 course IS just this, and the professors don't bother making any attempt to make this class worth the time, attendance, or money spent for it. The class only meets twice a week, and through the entire semester, I would guess Ms. Woods was not there 6-8 times for her "other" business, meaning her real job. The class taught me absolutely NOTHING, no exaggeration, I didn't learn a single thing, and she seemed to be INCREDIBLY picky about who she liked and who she did not like from the very beginning. If you're lucky, she will like you, if not, then tough. The class offered no challenge, and reminded me of my middle school days. She was helpful in generally knowing her stuff if a question were asked, but if no questions were asked for the day, usually nothing would happen and class would get out 30 minutes early. It was not even worth my time to show up ever, and she did not make the class any more "comforting" to Freshman. Above all, she is enitrely more devoted to her own studies, her own personal life, and her own job far more than she is to teaching this class. I regret taking it, to say in the least
