Additional Comments |
This course is a lot of lecturing and class discussion. Dr. Taylor is a lot of fun. She gives her opinions about the subject and allows for feedback. She is very direct, and is not shy. You will learn some interesting information that will not necessarily be on the test, but helps you to appreciate the course work and Dr. Taylor more. The tests consist of identifying quotes (who and from what work) as well as short essays about different topics. You get to pick so many questions to answer out of each section (identifying and short essay). In other words, there may be a list of 15, and you only have to answer 10. You also have to write a paper about a topic, using at least two works as examples. If you like to get a chance to actually talk about issues in the works you read, take her course!
