Additional Comments |
This is a HISTORY class, people. It's going to be all lecture! Yes, there are a lot of notes for this class, but not as many as you may think. The lectures are told in an interesting manner, and much of what is said in lecture is not needed for testing. You will not need to know specific dates. This class does not delve deeply into military history. You will have no homework except for your current events journal. This assignment will be given at the beginning of the semester and will be due at the end. Class attendance is a must (and that sleeping in class comment is a killer-PLEASE! If you sleep in class, you don't have to be penalized - you're going to fail the tests!) Starting in Spring 2002, there is a website hosting notes for the class. As lectures change some from semester to semester, I would suggest only using those notes in the future for emergencies (missed classes) and be sure to discuss them with someone (to make sure you have all the major points).
