His lectures are really boring because all he does is read the notes that he posted on the web. He doesn't take attendance and he drops your lowest quiz grade. You can print the notes off the web so you really don't miss anything by missing class. The quizzes are over current events and maps. You don't need the book for anything except those maps. I haven't read the book all semester.
