I had this class as a May session... one word: HORRIBLE. I don't think she teaches at WKU anymore thank god. She expected us to do 10 Q-Basic assignments in one day (the last day) and those of us that were slower learning she was a &@#** to us. She is a big nerd and told us computers were going to take over the world. DONT TAKE HER - SHE IS A FREAK.

This is the absolute worst class I have ever had in my entire time at WKU. This lady needs to wake up and get with it. She thinks she is a know it all and even if you are very familiar with computers or are a computer nerd you will do crappy in this class... her questions on exams, etc. are absolutely ridiculous... it's like a 500 level class. Look, I saw the bad evaluations online before I took the class, and I do not know WHY I still took it! DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS... most of the computer science classes stink anyway. You are better off taking a CIS class instead of CS... at least that is what I have heard from other students. And as a last note, she made some people so upset in our class... one person almost threw a computer across the room and she got mad. So, wait until she leaves the room to get mad at the computers for the junk assignments she gives, that are absolutely worthless. UGHH! Thanks for looking at my evaluation.

She expects way too much for an intro. course. Also, she gives you tons of assignments the last 2 weeks of class. Very unorganized and very unfair exams. Take her only if you have a good background in computers already.

This lady is very unorganized. Don't plan to get your tests back on time. The tests are very difficult and you have to apply a lot of time to the class. Especially at Finals time, you have a lot to cover and/or computer lab work. I.e. Pinpoint modules and QBASIC programs. In other words, don't take her.

She is very unorganized. It is not an easy class and she doesn't make it easy at all. She is hard to follow and talks really fast. I would suggest not taking her

I don't really like this teacher very much, she is a know-it-all. I didn't like how she taught the course, and she was incredibly unorganized and went too fast. Just know something about computers before you take her class.

She was a horrible teacher. She was very unorganized, and was a very strange lady. She was always doing off the wall things. This was an intro class which she made difficult by asking over specific questions on the test. Plus, it seems as though you don't do much all semester and then the last few weeks she realizes that half the stuff that we are supposed to do we haven't done. She piled everything on us at once because she was so unorganized. She was a weird person and a horrible teacher.

She is a helpful teacher but slow to return homework. The programming assignments are easy and she even gives attendance points. The tests are a little harder than expected but anyone who puts forth a little effort should do well in the class.

She's not the most organized teacher I've ever had. We never got a syllabus, nor did she ever give us any of our programs back (and we did a lot of them). She can be somewhat annoying, but if you do all your programs and read all the assignments, you should do OK.

One word: horrible!!! She is totally unorganized. The material the class is about is very simple, yet she makes tests difficult by asking overspecific questions. I could go on, but I'm sure you get the picture.
