This class is easy but boring and that can make it seem hard. Just make sure to get copies of his old tests (preferably from recent semesters) because THOSE WILL BE THE QUESTIONS!! The presentation/paper thing isn't too bad as long as you're in a group you like. Make sure to do the extra credit b/c it could be 6 pts on your final grade, plus he likes when student's have initiative. Just act like you care and smile and you'll be fine!

This class was really pretty terrible. I felt like I was wasting my time. I eventually stopped going most of the time. I really didn't learn anything...... But Bryant is really a nice man. He tells awful jokes, and he rambles, but is really really sweet. He's a terrible teacher, but he's so sweet and enthusiastic you just can't hate him.
Oh, and he curbs your grades. I failed everything but made a C.

All you have to do is follow the procedure for how you write up your lab reports and do it exactly how he wants it-you'll get an A on every one of them. The labs are pretty easy too-once you figure them out.

Going into this course, I really thought it would be interesting. I ended up dreading going to class because it was so dull. The teacher talked about things that were not relevant to the material quite often. Mr. Bryant is a very nice man and good-natured but really does not know how to teach very well. I learned more by teaching myself than when I was in the class. Unless you have to take it, I would not recommend acoustics of music and speech.

Dr. Bryant is a very nice and friendly man, but prehaps past his prime as a teacher. He often wastes class time with pointless stories and bad jokes. He is difficult to follow when he is explaining problems in class, however, he is very approachable outside of class and is willing to take the time help students with with homework assignments. He somehow seems better able to explain a problem in a one on one setting than in a class room environment. Long story short: Dr. Bryant's lectures are useless, however, if you need assistance with a homework problem he is often quite helpfull.

Dr Bryant is probably the worst teacher I've had at WKU. Its pointless to go to class. He tells jokes and when he explains the problems, he skips steps in his algebra b/c he can work them in his head when the rest of the class can't and doesn't explain the probably while he works it. I find it useless to go to lecture and I have to teach it to myself. We do good to have 1/2 the class in lecture show up. He's a nice man however, but just can't teach. Don't take him unless you have to.

There is no reason to ever take this class. It is a joke. He sits up there and plays with sound instruments all of class and then mentions something about harmonic series (whatever that is) and then gives you a damn test over it all. If you do take the class, read the book and be prepared to teach yourself....Dr. Bryant won't. He is a very nice guy, but he can't teach a lick. I have no idea how I got a B in the class, I believe he gives out extra credit for going to listen to speakers, but all of this happens during class time anyway so where else would you be? Good Luck and Have Fun.

Dr. Bryant is way past his prime, he can not teach so unless you have taken previous physics courses don't take Dr Bryant's lecture. The class involves listening to him talk about totally random things, tell horrible jokes and you learn absolutly nothing. You must be willing to teach yourself when you take Dr. Bryants course. 70% of my grade came down to the last week....sign of a good teacher huh? He is very proud and laughs at the fact that students find his tests hard, and his final impossible...........Whatever you do don't take Dr. Bryant's lecture it's a joke he can even call himself a teacher!

The physics department is in dire need of some teachers that can actually teach. They know what they are doing, but can't teach it worth crap. Maybe because I found this to be a hard topic in the first place. He gets off topic a lot and "degresses" from the subject. The exams are about 5 questions long (20 pts a piece) with a bonus question. I would very highly advise to get all of the old tests that you can because he uses the same questions (I found out after the first test about this). The questions also come from the study problems that he gives for each chapter. He hands out index cards that you can write all you can on it front and back. After all of this, I still ended up with a C.

he makes the topic intresting
with many demonstrations and will explain things over until you seem satisfied which somtimes may take a few times. The test are hard but if you study you can get an A. His teaching is geared more towards muscians so if you are not the class is probly much more difficult.
