Dr. Lile was good at explaining concepts thoroughly and in a way that made them fairly easy to understand. One word of warning: go to class prepared to be called on because he likes to involve everyone, though he seems to call on the same few people frequently. Tests are straightforward--no tricks, and you can review for them by doing professor's online questions. There are quizzes every few class periods, too, but they are easy if you've done the assigned reading. I recommend Dr. Lile's class, even for those who aren't keen on the idea of taking economics--he's patient and helpful.
