This class was pretty easy. Print off the powerpoints, show-up, read over the powerpoints and any additional notes you've taken during class before the tests. 3 tests not cumulative. We had the option of taking a blackboard test to replace the lowest test grade as well. As far as papers are concerned we had 3. Two were just questions over articles we read and the last one was a formal term paper over a film. Dr. Trojan is a pretty good professors. Although if you have a weak stomach, be warned.

Trojan is a no bullshit professor, but really laid back. She has powerpoints that she puts up a day ahead of each lecture, but she said that if attendance drops you will lose them (but we have had crap attendance and we still have them). She does give out some bonus points. Barely take notes if you have the powerpoint printed out. There's a few easy 2 page papers, and one 5 pager that makes you think. Although the class isn't an easy A, if you study the powerpoints and listen to her random and irrelevant tangents you will do fine in the class.

Dr. Trojan is a really cool woman who speaks her mind. To the lighthearted, she may seem really rude and kind of mean but I think she's hilarious. Her class is really easy if you have a brain; all you do is print off the notes, read them, and listen to the lecture. You have two exams, the midterm and the final which are CAKE if you read your notes as little as twice. She requires two short papers over whatever she wants, either articles or movies, and lets you write three and she drops the lowest grade. The final paper is a little longer and will probably be about juvenile delinquency. Overall, she's a really easy grader and if you go to class and pay attention, you'll get an A easily.

Dr. Trojan is really cool. I took her my freshman year and didn't really know what to expect, but she made the class interesting because of her totally sarcastic attitude. She's really funny and gives you extra credit A LOT for showing up on Fridays when "every one else is hungover." Read over the notes (sometimes she'll put the slides on black board) and her tests are straight from those. The book only gives some supported material for your notes. For our class, at least, she let anyone who had an A make the choice of taking the final or not. Very cool.

The final may or may not be required. It usually depends on how well everyone is doing. This was Dr.Trojan's second semester at Western Kentucky University and she is phenomenal. I usually don't get out of a class without having something bad to say about the professor, but there is a first for everything. She is great. You can go to her to tell her about anything whether it be a problem in class or outside of class. She really understands what she is teaching you and has a great teaching style. I really feel like I have learned more in the 2 classes I have taken with her than in any other course I have taken at Western Kentucky University. I could have gotten an A easily in this class but I opted out of the final because she said it wouldn't hurt our grades since she made it optional. My actual number grade was an 88 I just didn't feel like having to go in at 8am for the final on a day when I would have had no other finals to attend.
