She is the easiest English teacher ever! She blabs about stuff a lot and gets off track, but if you can overlook that and you do all the assignments, it is a pretty easy class.

She is EASY! Take Kiene!

This woman drove me insane throughout the entire semester. She never returns assignments in a timely manner. The last day of class she was handing me papers I turned in over a month ago. I always made C’s and D’s on my first essays for “not enough content”, even though I had no grammatical errors and even followed her joke of a rubric. I finally broke down and started going to both the LAC on South Campus and the English tutor at Glasgow, before I turned in any essay and STILL received C’s and D’s. I can't for the life of me figure out how one English teacher and a tutor believe my work is A material and another thinks it is D material??? Thankfully, I aced the grammar quizzes and skated out with a B. The sad thing is that this should be an easy class, if the teacher was clear about her expectations and actually showed up on time and prepared for class.

It's not that Ms. Kiene's course is "difficult". It's that she is extremely unorganized, sloppy & misses half of her classes due to "migraines". She is extremely bias against women. She doesn't specify what she actually wants from the student. Her grading system is very confusing. I followed exactly what she asked for, per the rubric and she gave me a D as well as an F. Keep in mind, this is an Intro to college writing course. Most of the students in my class seem to struggle greatly in this class, yet come out with A's and B's. I would strongly recommend no one take her course, especially women of any intelligence that may threaten Ms. Kiene.

Mrs. Kiene is a nice woman but seriously, why is she teaching?? She is always late, unorganized and constantly unprepared. It drives me insane! She can’t explain anything worth a lick, either. She literally pauses for a good 10 sec before saying anything; tacking on as many words as possible to any given sentence. JUST EXPLAIN THINGS WITHOUT ALL THE FLUFF!! And, she digs in her ears when she thinks! Ehhhhh!

She is ridiculously frustrating. And don’t get me started on her grading scale, if she even has one! It really isn't a difficult class, if she would just clarify what she wants. Overall, she’s a nice person but a horrible, horrible teacher!

Mrs. Kiene is extremely unorganized! This class was a complete waste of my time. I didnt like that you don't know what your grade is until the very end because she doesn't give ANYTHING back to you until then. Plus, she says that her other job is her number one priority. Easy class, but very frustrating for people who like to know what is going on with their grades!

This class was pretty much a waste of my time. Mrs. Kiene is very unorganized and doesn't come prepared for class very frequently. I don't understand her grading scale at all and I went though the entire course wondering what my grade was. I guess you don't have a choice but to take her. It wasn't that hard, but for someone who is very organized, the class was frustrating.

Mrs. Kiene is an excellent teacher! She really helps you understand what is going on. The final is open book and take home. There are several projects to do in class. Make sure you keep up with the work. Do not miss out on this awesome class!
