If you have to take a history class-take Ms. Wood. She can get off track but when it comes to the tests, she always gives the essay questions she will ask. Also on the test you have to do (if i remember correctly) 10 IDs. Basically she gives you a list of 80-100 names/events/etc and you just have to write a short paragraph about it.

Ms. Wood gives extra credit for EVERY TEST! From what my friends tell me the other history teachers at Glasgow are AWFUL! SOOOOO glad I took Ms. Wood!

I LOVED Mrs. Wood!! She is the sweetest little woman, and she actually made history interesting to someone (me) who despises history! She always seemed willing to help when you needed. The worst thing about the class is she talks REALLY REALLY fast, which she knows she needs to work on, and it is hard to keep up with. I had the class one night a week, so it was about 3 hours of writing. The final is not cumalative, which was nice. She gave us extra credit one day because only 15 people showed up out of 50 to class. She didn't assign a book, but you need one. She just said to get any western civ book, which works out good because you can get the cheapest one. She gives you 5 possible essay questions before the test, puts 3 on the test and you have to write on 2. You also have to write 10 short answers which you pick from a list of like 70. So the tests are not too bad. I definitely recommend Mrs. Wood she was GREAT!
