Additional Comments |
If you're here looking at the green to red ratio, and hopeful, you are sadly mistaken. I am a third of the way through my Politics and Film course and already horrified of my dropping GPA. I am an honors student, and have to put up at least five hours in a single day in order to receive a B on a Kiasatpour analysis. His instructions are remarkably obscure and misleading. His usage of unnecessary texts applied to the films is pathetic. You will be reading journal articles that are maybe 12% pertinent to the film at hand, then having to analyze the political function of each stylistic impulse of each director in each film. Kiasatpour has the most boring and calming voice on planet Earth, it is as if your grandmother suddenly earned a degree, and rocked you to sleep while grading everything you write with scrutiny to an F. I hope you withdraw before making the same mistake I did.
