I was a little worried about this class at first because I heard that Jeff was hard to get along with. And yes he talks a lot, but he's a really nice guy who will tell you exactly what to think. Take his advice and work hard and I promise you will get an A. Also he's pretty lenient about participation.

His grading of projects is horrible. He has in class critiques but they are pointless because even if you do the suggestions he makes you can still get a horrible grade on the project. He has no set way of teaching class, he seems to make it up as he goes. He is a horrible teacher and i wouldn't recomend this class if you dont have to have it. I was always wondering what I did wrong on my projects. Like I said earlier he will give you suggestions to make your project better, but in my case the suggestions he gave me to do were the things he didn't like. HE IS CLUELESS

Jeff is a really nice guy, and I didn't mind listening to the stories he tells about his family. He has all kinds of conversations with the class over pretty much everything, which makes for a nice relaxed atmosphere. When it came to design, however, I wasn't exactly sure what he wanted. He'd give us elements of deign, and then want us to apply them to putting black hole punches on white posterboard. I can't argue with him wanting really neat and good looking work, but I never really knew what I was doing right. Good guy, and a fun class.

Professor Jensen's class is very enjoyable. He allows a good chunck of time for projects, which is how I prefer to work. However, I was never quiet sure what I was supposed to be learning, maybe cause this is only the first art class I've ever had in my life. And you won't get an A if your project isn't perfect in terms of artistic value and cleanliness. However, if you work hard, you'll do fine. He really is a nice guy.
