Dr. Kiasatpour is a fascinating individual. He is originally from Iran, which allows him to share different viewpoints on the world. The class focuses on International Relations and is very interesting. You will cover topics that include: Conflict, Information Technology, Environment, Trade, etc. The class is difficult and many students do not like it because of the amount of critical thinking that is involved. You are required to do weekly Blackboard quizzes, write an 8-12 page term paper, and have 3 exams that will test you to the max. If you are will to work, the class is great and you will learn a lot. If you do not want to read and challenge yourself, then you will struggle to find success. Overall, great class for people that like a challenge. Dr. Kiasatpour is also hilarious.
