No homework other than the short papers you have to write based on reading materials. Attendance isn't mandatory but class is discussion based and will help you when you are writing your papers.

Dr. Bell is really great and willing to help. I was always told I was a terrible writer in high school and was dreading this course my first semester but he totally turned it around.

I would definitely recommend!

I LOVE Dr. Bell, he is one of the best profs I have ever had in college! Forst, let me say that I am NOT an english person and I most took this class for the honors credit, and what an easy honors credit it is! The class was pretty straight forward. You need 5 books, one if a book of poetry, you have readings to do before each class and you simply discuss it in class the next day. We have a 'test' afte rwe finished with it. it was pretty much like wiritng a paper on demand, but it wasn't bad. After that, its 4 novels and 2 papers, one is due about mid-term and the other is due during finals week. He is crazy hilarious and he is actually a published author, so he knows what he is taking about. I absolutely loved this class and would recommend anyone to take it, he's great!

entertaining guy. Only 3 short papers super easy

I loved Dr.Bell as my english professor. He is very entertaining. Class is always interesting. He is really funny as well. 3 papers to write. No final or tests. I highly recommend him to anyone taking ENG 100.

Dr.Bell is one of the most entertaining teachers I have ever Had. You go to class, talk about a 2 page story that your supposed to read everyday, and more often then not, the stories are entertaining as well. You have Four papers due, and that's all he grades.
