Additional Comments |
If you have a life, don't take Mrs. Ware! This class is very time consuming and you have to devote most of your time to this class to do halfway decent in it. She is a very difficult grader and will tear your papers apart. I was appalled when I got my first paper back and saw the insane amounts of red ink all over the pages. Her tests aren't that difficult, but they will take you the whole time to finish them-- that is if you're lucky to have the whole class to work on it. On the day of our second test, she decided to have a "review" session and took up 30 minutes of our class time doing so. The test consisted of true/false, multiple choice, an analysis of a piece from an article, and you had to read an excerpt from the textbook and create a thesis statement and a body paragraph (consisting of 10 questions, in the sequence that she wants it to be in). This was a lot of work to do in the short amount of time that we had left and she had no sympathy. I ended up leaving a chunk of multiple choice questions blank and I didn't finish all of the sentences on my body paragraph. Even if you like to challenge yourself, I would recommend that you didn't do so with her.
