Dr. Edds is a wonderful professor. Her Psychology of Women class is offered 3 weekends (Friday night and Saturday) at the Etown campus. The times look a little intimidating (5:30-9:30 on Fridays and 8:00-5:30 on Saturdays), but she never had us come in before 9:30 on Saturdays, and we always got out early on both days. There are two papers, one 8-10 page about anything discussed in the class, so you can write about nearly anything, and one 3-5 page research paper. You also have to present these papers in front of the class, but it was very informal. Considering it is only a 3 weekend class, you don't get your papers back until the day of the final, but she seems to be lenient with grading. The final is cumulative, but Dr. Edds gave us the exact final 3 weeks before the actual final so we could fill it out, study, etc. Then, on the day of the final we just went in and wrote what we already knew would be on the test. Dr. Edds is not a feminist and doesn't force information on you. I loved that about this class. If you need an upper level class, and you don't mind taking night/weekend classes, definitely take this one!
