I love Mrs. Wilson! Probably one of the best math teachers. I took her for 116 and 117 and got an A in both of her classes. She is extremely nice and offers help to all of her students. If you come to class and take notes and copy down the example problems and do the assigned problems from the book you should do okay. Most of the test problems are either the exact same from the book or just like them. She's awesome, take her!

Attendance is not mandatory if you don't mind taking the final. At first I thought she was babying us, but after a while of getting used to her way of teaching it was nice to have her rephrase things. If you have trouble with math and you honestly want to get it, take this class. She will work with you as much as possible.

Professor Wilson is a nice enough person, she just is not an effective teacher. She tries to "spoon feed" the information to you which manages to confuse you even more. The online program Math Portal is required for the class and is an ineffective program. There is very few things that you can actually e-mail her for, her typical argument being that the information is within the syllabus, you cannot e-mail her over homework questions, testing session questions or any thing of the same vein. Again, Professor Wilson is a nice enough person, but if you need a professor for 109, take someone else.

This woman is the queen of math. She cares so much it is just so wonderful to see that in a professor today. You have five exams which are taken online in the testing center, three attempts per exam. Do the reviews, as the problems are identical..just different numbers. I have had to take this course three times, but once I walked into this class it all just clicked. She cared about me, my grade and my success...I finally passed the course and can do math so much better now. I cried upon leaving seeing my grade because I knew I had beaten my fear of math. Thanks Mrs. Wilson, you are what teaching is about!!!!
