If you have to take a Marketing class, TAKE THIS ONE!!!! This was recommended to me by several people and I am so glad I took it. He is so funny and will keep you engaged when he lectures. In order to get an A, you have to do the extra credit; this is really where you boost your points above every other student. There are two books you have to read, but they're good reads. I am even considering getting a Sales minor just so I can take more of his classes.

If you decide to take this class with any other professor, you're making a mistake.

Professor Derry has been my absolute favorite professor at WKU so far. The best thing he does: he makes the class interesting. Attendance is not mandatory, but you will want to go the class. If you have ever wanted to improve your speaking, selling, and presentation skills, I would TAKE THIS CLASS. No where else will you find material so applicable to real life. If you attend class, take notes, and take what he says to heart, you will not only receive an A, but you will also have a successful career in whatever field you choose

Best class I had in college. Learned how to sell and persuade. I became a better speaker because of his practical approach to selling. He is the man. Quite temperamental, but very passionate about what he teaches. He cares about his students. The class is tough and requires serious 1hr a day reading. Totally worth it.

this class is stupid and the whole curriculum is just selling.Mr Derry is ok however extremely boring and weird.If you like dullness please take his personal waste of time class.
