If you go to class, you will get extra credit opportunities, and you will get points for in class assignments. You have to be in class to get the credit for assignments. There are three tests, including a final, which are mainly multiple choice with a few word problems at the end where you draw out graphs and charts. The book really isn't necessary if you go to class everyday. At the end, she said she curves the final grade if you haven't missed more than 2 or 3 in class assignments. So, go to class, and you will get a good grade!
