I joined this class two weeks into the semester, and Professor Carey was wonderful to let me in, but what wasn't wonderful was the fact that even though I kept my books open during this online class, I couldn't pass them for the life of me. Maybe Economics is something you can teach yourself, and I surely hope so, because Carey doesn't offer much help if you get behind or a little bit confused. if you're someone who can simply read something, do a few problems and completely understand it, then power to ya, go for this class. If not, do yourself a favor and take it in person rather than online and avoid Cathy Carey at all costs.
