Additional Comments |
Dr. Miller is very intelligent and cares about his students. He is helpful and offers review sessions before each test. He's not used to teaching undergraduate classes though. Also his specific area of interest is the brain and its chemicals, so he asks a lot about those on the tests, which are all 60 multiple choice questions. He offers a lot of extra credit, and sometimes bonus points on quizzes (10 multiple choice questions) just for attending class if attendance is low on a certain day. If you average 90 on all four of the tests, you don't have to take the final. He gives a lot of notes in class. He uses an outline of the material on an overhead projector and gives details as he talks. I took good notes and only used the book once in the class.
