Additional Comments |
At first, Dr. Pope seemed like an okay teacher. However it didn't take long for me to see that the class wasn't going to be a good one. She would purposely give more homework on the weeks that we had exams, like she was testing us but it was impossible to keep up. Her quizzes were timed. If you went even a second over, instead of deducting points she just gave you a 0 on the quiz. She profread my first paper, gave me a C. I changed everything she told me to and still that is the grade that I got. The final paper, I got a B. It wasn't proofread. I don't understand? She seemed to like to see the class struggle. In her emails, she would sometimes smart off. It was annoying. That isn't what teachers get paid to do. Especially those who have undergrads who do EVERYTHING for them. I asked her a question once, something you would think the professor should know, and she replied by saying she would have to ask Abby because she wasnt sure. What is that? A professor doesnt know an answer to her own classroom question? She has to ask the undergrad? That is dumb. I would not recommened her class to anyone. If it is possible to take the class with a different teacher I would highly recommend that!
