Mr. Duncan really tries to make this class interesting. Overall, we never took any notes in class because he said he'd rather us just listen and interact. He gave us study guides and reviews for the midterm and final which were the only tests. We had one personal reaction paper and one research paper, and presented our paper to the class in a powerpoint or other form. Grading was done easily. The mandatory book was never used in class, but I did use it to study for my two tests, but you could definitely get by without it. Easy class, good teacher!

This class is the easiest and best class I've taken. It meet once a week a night and we were NEVER in there the entire time. Mr. Duncan is an awesome teacher and is very understanding and will work with you on anything. You take two tests and write two papers, one over your choice and the other you attend an NA/AA meeting and write about it. Mr. Duncan does cover all the material and you learn a lot. You will not regret taking this class.
