This class was pretty easy and is actually beneficial to pre nursing students. I checked that attendance is mandatory, but while she does take it, it does not affect your grade if you miss unless you miss assignments. There are several quizzes, which she gives you study guides for, and theyre very easy. There were also 5 critical thinking exercises that were done and graded as a group. She dropped the lowest quiz and critical thinking grade. There was a midterm, a cumulative final, and a group presentation, and a research paper. None of these things were graded difficultly, but I didn't like that many of the things done in the class were group activities. The book was supposed to be mandatory, but I never used it, so save yourself some cash and don't buy it! I really like Ms. Bormann, and overall the class was an easy A!
