Additional Comments |
This course is actually taught by two professors. Dr. Gibbs a professional pathologist who teaches the lecture and Crawford who handles most of the lab. Dr. Gibbs is a nice older guy who often looses focus and really bores the lecture section. No one goes to lecture because the exams for lecture are made by Dr. Crawford who gets his materials from some other place so lecture attendance is a waste. READ the book and study diagrams for lecture exams. The powerpoints are a waste and dont really have exam info on them. Lecture exams are combination short answer essay and some very tricky multiple choice that Crawford pulls from some hidden place as well as drawing diagrams. The lab isnt bad sometimes its a little slow and both professors are very helpful. You have a quiz about every week and a midterm and final in the lab. All these lab quizzes and exams are done via powerpoint projection..and lab is 40% of your grade...lecture is 60%. In synopsis Gibbs is really nice and a pleasure, Crawford thinks he is god and needs a punch in the face.
